Temporary Full Time Educational Assistant

Pincher Creek Colony School

Pincher Creek Colony School is located approximately 4 km west of Pincher Creek. We are seeking a temporary full time Educational Assistant to work with EAL students. We believe in a team approach to learning that creates a safe and caring, student centered environment where everyone is encouraged to achieve to their highest capabilities. If you believe in contributing to a supportive caring learning environment for students we are looking for you to join our team.

Desired qualifications include the following:

  • Diverse educational assistant training and experience in Divisions I, II and III.
  • Experience with and/or training working with students with various learning needs in a diverse setting.
  • An understanding of and respect for Hutterite culture and educational needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships with students/staff in a flexible environment.
  • Ability to follow a program directed by a speech language pathologist, occupational therapist, etc.

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
