Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Representative to provide exceptional IT support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge across various operating systems and networking protocols, along with excellent communication skills to resolve issues efficiently. This role involves assisting users with hardware, software, and network-related problems, ensuring smooth operation of their IT environments.

Duties

  • Provide technical support for desktop and laptop computers, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Assist users with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, VPN, firewall configurations, and wireless connections.
  • Support service management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy for incident tracking and resolution.
  • Configure and maintain computer hardware components and peripherals.
  • Resolve issues related to Microsoft Office applications and other productivity software.
  • Manage firewall settings and security protocols to protect client networks.
  • Assist with help desk tickets, prioritize requests, and communicate solutions clearly to end-users.
  • Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and customer satisfaction.

Experience

  • Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with a strong understanding of computer networking concepts such as LAN, VPN, and firewall management.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy is preferred.
  • Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques for common desktop applications including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding of computer hardware components and basic repair procedures.
  • Experience supporting remote users via remote desktop tools or VPN connections is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $62,500.00-$67,500.00 per year
