Junior Project Manager – Property Restoration

Location: Markham, Ontario

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: Starting at $65,000–$80,000+, based on experience

We're recruiting on behalf of a respected restoration and reconstruction company with a strong reputation across the GTA. They specialize in both residential and commercial restoration projects, helping property owners rebuild after fire, flood, storm, and other damage events.

The team is looking to add a Junior Project Manager who has 2–4 years of restoration or construction experience and is ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone who's been a Project Coordinator, Assistant PM, or Junior PM and wants to learn from senior leaders while managing projects independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage multiple restoration projects from start to finish

  • Assist with estimating and scope preparation using Xactimate

  • Coordinate subcontractors, field technicians, and trades on active jobs

  • Communicate with clients, adjusters, and property managers throughout the project lifecycle

  • Track project progress, costs, and timelines using Encircle, DocuSketch, or PSA

  • Ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met on site

  • Work closely with senior PMs to gain mentorship and develop leadership skills

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in restoration or construction (1–2 years in restoration preferred)

  • Familiar with fire, water, and mold restoration processes

  • Proficient or comfortable learning Xactimate, Encircle, PSA, or DocuSketch

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage priorities and solve problems under pressure

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
