Sense & Nous is seeking a Junior Consultant with a strong interest in management consulting and a commitment to delivering high-quality value to clients in the healthcare and public sectors. This role provides an opportunity to build consulting capabilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while gaining exposure to diverse sectors, project types, and subject-matter experts. The Junior Consultant will support analysis, project coordination, and delivery across a range of client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior consultants in conducting research, analysis, and synthesis of information for client deliverables
  • Assist in developing client presentations, reports, and other project documentation
  • Conduct background research on industries, organizations, and emerging trends to inform project work
  • Coordinate project activities including scheduling meetings, tracking deliverables, and managing timelines
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops, contributing insights and documenting key discussions
  • Prepare briefing materials and support the development of project work plans
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data to support evidence-based recommendations
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes by reviewing deliverables for accuracy and consistency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated capacity to break down complex challenges into actionable components
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environments
  • Strong logical reasoning and structured thinking capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to work
  • Intellectually curious with a continuous learning mindset
  • Highly responsive and adaptable to changing client needs
  • Previous experience in professional services or client-facing environments
  • Knowledge of or interest in healthcare systems, public health, or social services sectors
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement or facilitation
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel advanced functions, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong technology skills, experience with project management tools an asset.
