Fire and Steel is a premium retailer for specialty blades and traditional weaponry. Founded in 2012 as a martial arts hobby shop, we sell products direct-to-consumer as well as to video game companies and movie productions. We stock everything from traditional medieval weaponry such as swords, daggers, axes, and bows to exotic weaponry and items inspired by anime, comics, movies and television shows.
As of 2018, we've begun to expand our team and expanded our product lines to carry more cosplay related products and accessories. We are active on social media (IG, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) as @RealFireNSteel and @RealFireAndSteel on TikTok.
Job description
The Growth Marketer at Fire and Steel Inc. is an in-person role, responsible for developing and executing our social media marketing strategy, encompassing both customer acquisition and retention marketing. Fire and Steel takes a very data-led approach to everything that we do.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing our various marketing channels with the guidance of our management team. He or she will push the development, implementation, and execution of Fire and Steel's growth strategy.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build, grow and lead customer acquisition, retention and referral
- Engage, nurture and convert prospects into customers through segmentation, emails, curated content, etc
- Test and optimize demand/acquisition through performance channels (paid search, SEO, paid social, targeting, retargeting, and paid media)
- Understand customer and market needs, and to create and optimize content
- Forecast, analyze, measure and report the impact of performance marketing activities on demand, revenue and ROAS
- Use a combination of demand generation and lead generation strategies to drive a pipeline of qualified leads
Skills and Requirements:
- Must have experience in advertising and/ or other marketing functions
- Expertise of ad/web/email reporting and analytics platforms, such as Google Ads, TikTok Ads Dashboard, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.)
- Experience with funnel marketing across the spectrum of DTC marketing toolkits (ie customer acquisition, conversion and engagement) and cross-channel (ie online and offline media)
- Experience in following a budget to deliver on monthly goals of Ad spend, CPA, ROAS, Retention and LTV
- Top-notch analytical skills with a proven ability to sift through data to find opportunities and actionable insights that are not readily apparent and clearly communicate them
- Forward thinking and on the cutting edge of latest performance marketing trends, SEO, social media trends and platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
