Social Media Marketing Coordinator

The Social Media Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and monitoring Coldstream Plumbing’s Social Media and Marketing strategies, to increase our online presence, brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and to drive sales. This role involves various duties to build, grow and manage all social media channels as well as content creation for various outlets. **Essential Functions**:
- Create concise, eye-catching, and creative social media posts that engages the audience on various social platforms - Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms as needed.
- Maintain and ensure consistency in brand voice while adapting to different social media platforms.
- Consistently brainstorm new ideas and strategies to generates new leads, followers and increases our brand engagement.
- Utilize monitoring tools and web analytics to track performance of social media content and campaigns.
- Prepare weekly and monthly content calendars
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Develop campaign reports, analyze the results and refine the social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement levels and drive sales.
- Keep up to date with trending topics and adapt to social media strategy to boost social media traffic.
- Engage with industry professionals and key social influencers to form a community.
- Communicate and connect with the audience on social media platforms and address any inquiries.
- Get hands on, promote Coldstream Plumbing’s services online and push the limits
**Education and Experience**:
- 1-2 years of work experience in a related capacity (social media community management, content writing, copywriting, journalism, public relations
- Strong copywriting/caption writing/blog writing skills + writing experience.
- Social media platform experience, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube for posting, engagement, boosting and reporting.
**Competencies and Requirements**:
- Inherent understanding of writing for a target audience(s) and with specific marketing campaign objectives in mind.
- Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
- Firm understanding of brand strategy and development.
- Proven understanding of content marketing principles.
- Immaculate attention to detail and grammar.
- Strong business acumen and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Have a genuine passion for Social Media and Content Creation
- The drive and energy to always want to be the best at what you do
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-24 per week
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
