We are seeking a Junior Social Media Marketer with a strong interest in storytelling and content creation to join our growing Marketing team

Reporting to the Marketing and Communication Manager, you will create social media content on various platforms and engage with our community of eCommerce businesses.

This role is a hybrid work arrangement, based out in Mississauga, ON.

**Your Role as a Junior Social Media Marketer**:

- Oversee and manage daily activities across social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook.
- Produce captivating video content that reflects the brand voice.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar, organizing posts around content pillars, seasonal themes, company updates, and product launches.
- Engage with followers, monitor platform interactions, and track social media performance metrics.
- Stay updated on social media trends and identify growth opportunities for company brands.
- Collaborate with the Design Team and Copywriter to produce eye-catching creatives, video edits, and compelling captions.
- Assist in generating content ideas, including graphics and videos.
- Create TikTok videos that reflect company values and resonate with target audiences.
- Identify, build and maintain influencers partnership and campaign performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience managing business social media accounts is preferred.
- Confident and personable on camera, with the ability to engage effectively with audiences.
- Experience with project management tools like ClickUp and social media analytics tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
- Creative storyteller with a passion for video content and on-camera presentations.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing principles and best practices.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organized.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
