Nurse Injector Job Description

Women Lifestyle Clinic is looking to hire a nurse (RN or RPN) with a clientele base to join our team of cosmetic practitioner . We are looking for professional, self- motivated individual, with a high attention to detail and are eager to always learn with a passion for beauty, skin care and helping their clients look and feel their best.

Must have current licensing and registration with the CNO, and RNAO or RPNAO. Certification in cosmetic nursing an asset. Must be able to practice independently in a clinic setting and display critical thinking skills. Must have a medical director.

Relevant experience in the industry is an asset but not required. This position offers freelance, casual or part time work.

This position runs by appointment only with clients and needs a flexible schedule.

IV administration would be a consideration.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Cosmetic Nurse Injector is primarily responsible for patient enrolment & satisfaction through treatments and education on the benefits of injectables and IV therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Responsible for administering Botox and Fillers
  • Administering IVs and Nutrition booster shot injections.
  • Educating and informing clients regarding IV and booster therapies
  • The Nurse is accountable for maintaining and updating patient records while the patient is present; recording/documenting date and time of treatment(s) performed.
  • They are responsible for patient care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatments to ensure the best outcomes for the patient.
  • They must ensure the proper storage, administration and inventory counts for Botox and Fillers and other injectables, as well as prescribed products in accordance to company policies and guidelines.
  • Educate clients on skin care products and treatment options.
  • Respond to telephone and e-mail inquiries and post procedure follow-ups from internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service.
  • Be able to sell and upgrade patients to achieve overall monthly performance targets.
  • Cosmetic Nurse Injector must take responsibility to attend training sessions and keep up to date with all clinical and professional developments as needed.
  • Experience with other aesthetic treatments such as PRP, Mesotherapy and IV injections is an asset.
