Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager - Administrative Services to support our daily operations. This role is essential in maintaining efficient administrative workflows,hiring and managing employees, and providing exceptional support to various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English and French , This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment while developing valuable administrative skills.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate administrative services
- Evaluate the operations of a department providing administrative services
- Manage the operations of a department providing several administrative service
- Collect and record administrative fees
- Assist in preparing annual budgets
- Conduct research
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records, management , security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services
- Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures
- Plan and Implement Standard Operating Procedures .
- Interview, hire and provide training for staff
- Plan, administer and control budgets for internal events, business projects, contracts, equipment and supplies
- Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services
- Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
- Manage Events
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative or office support roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office management software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Graduate Degree required .
- This role is integral to ensuring our organization runs smoothly by providing essential administrative support that enhances overall productivity and efficiency.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: $53.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
