Flagger

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team. The Flagger will play a crucial role in managing traffic flow around construction sites, ensuring the safety of both workers and the public. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety protocols.

**Responsibilities**
- Direct traffic safely around construction zones using appropriate hand signals and signage.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and construction personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow.
- Monitor site conditions and report any hazards or unsafe situations to supervisors.
- Assist in setting up and taking down traffic control devices as needed.
- Collaborate with heavy equipment operators to ensure safe movement of machinery on-site.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in flagging or traffic control is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus, particularly in building and paving contexts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant during long shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on job location.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
