Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shop Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management to drive sales and maintain operational excellence. Bilingual abilities and prior supervisory experience are highly valued to foster a welcoming environment for diverse customers and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage sales activities through effective sales management techniques, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high standards of communication skills.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and record keeping with strong organizational skills.
  • Monitor store performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement in sales and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations while fostering a culture of teamwork and leadership.

Experience

  • Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Strong background in sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices.
  • Experience in recruiting, training & development, team management, and supervising staff members.
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (multilingual abilities) are preferred.
  • Skills in negotiation, marketing, budgeting, time management, organizational skills, phone etiquette, and administrative tasks are essential.
  • Prior experience in retail sales or store management roles is highly desirable to ensure effective store operations. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $76,833.93-$109,915.72 per year
