Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and an experienced Thai Food Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food preparation, and extensive knowledge of food safety standards. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, managing food service, and ensuring high-quality food presentation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Chef will play a vital role in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for excellence and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Thai dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene compliance
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
  • Ensure all food served meets presentation standards and customer expectations
  • Train new staff on cooking techniques, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences
  • Monitor food costs and manage waste to optimize profitability
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality within the kitchen

Experience

  • Proven experienced cooking of Thai Foods
  • Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant management, food handling, and safety regulations
  • Experience working in the food industry with a focus on kitchen operations and hospitality standards
  • Familiarity with serving techniques and customer interaction is preferred
  • Prior restaurant experience is essential for understanding fast-paced culinary environments
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and certifications is highly desirable
