Quality Control Technician - Night Shift
The Quality Control Technician
will be responsible for the following:
Role:
A Quality Control Technician
is responsible for helping to ensure all aspects of quality within our
production. They will work closely with the quality control team to ensure all
products meet intended specifications and requirements. The role may include
hands on measuring, CMM programming and measuring, internal auditing,
completing required documentation, or any other quality related tasks
required.
Duties Include:
Inspect parts, dimensional andvisualAligning drawings and
specifications with inspection checks to ensure accuracyAssuring that all completed
parts are identified correctly, clean, deburred, well protected, and stored in
a clean, solid and professional crate, box, or skidAssists with manufacturing
internal quality auditsAssist with tool calibrationAttends Quality Meetings with
Quality ManagerAssist with any quality or
production related tasks on the floor
Qualifications:
Minimum High School educationor equivalentCertification in manufacturing
or quality control considered and assetMandatory that this role take
part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening
Experience:
2 to 5 years of workexperience in quality controlExperience reading engineering
and manufacturing drawings requiredExperience in the machining
industry is considered an assetExperience using measuring
tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etcKnowledge of GD&T
principles and concepts is considered an assetExperience with CMM operation
or programing is considered an asset
Core Work hours:
3:00pm-11:30pm Monday – FridayCompensation:
