Join The Business Inn & Suites team

Located at 180 Maclaren Street (off Elgin Street), we are seeking a full-time Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor for 5 shifts/40 hours weekly.

Use of:

- Multi-line telephone switchboard

  • Cloud Beds computerized hotel system and running night audit procedures.

Tasks:

- Register arriving guests and assign rooms

  • Process departing guests

  • Take, cancel and change room reservations

  • Process telephone calls

  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services

  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area

  • Process wake-up calls

  • Calculate charges and receive payments

  • Balance cash and complete reports and related forms

  • Monitor and assist with 3rd party website bookings and updating inventory levels.

  • Assign housekeeping room cleaning lists on internal software.

We offer a free benefits package after 1 months of employment: we cover 80% of prescriptions up to $1,200. per year and 80% of dental/vision up to $1,200. per year, and a CAA membership with the option of both life and critical illness insurance.
