Main responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse/Forklift Operator position for our Light Production Assembly Plant.

The person will have to:

1. Receiving and Shipping: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and organize them in the warehouse. Prepare and ship outgoing orders.

2. Stock Organization: Arrange and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.

3. Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.

4. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure the warehouse environment is safe.

5. Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications in warehouse management or related fields can be beneficial.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse preferred

  3. Skills:

  4. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain an organized workspace.

  5. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Capable to work under pressure.
  6. Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and other departments in English and French.

Working Conditions:

  1. Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm, open to overtime.
  2. Safety: Adherence to safety protocols is essential, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional Requirements:

  1. Certifications: Forklift certification or other relevant equipment operation certifications might be required.
  2. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift heavy items (often up to 50 pounds or more).
