Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee medium and large-scale electrical construction projects - installation, and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical construction, construction management, and project coordination, combined with a passion for driving project success through proactive leadership and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets using tools like Primavera P6 and Project scheduling software.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to develop accurate construction estimates utilizing Accubid and other software tools.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, system designs, and technical drawings to ensure precise implementation of electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
  • Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and progress reports, to maintain clear communication channels.
  • Oversee construction site activities ensuring safety compliance, quality standards, and efficient resource utilization; conduct regular site inspections.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling and tracking; proactively resolve issues related to design discrepancies or delays.
  • Ensure all electrical system design work aligns with industry best practices in system design, schematic development, and electrical engineering principles.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders to foster collaboration and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects within the light industrial or commercial sectors.
  • Extensive background in electrical engineering principles, system design, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
  • Strong understanding of ESA standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations applicable to construction sites.
  • Prior hands-on construction site experience coupled with excellent project coordination skills.
  • Ability to read complex schematics and technical drawings accurately while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills with a track record of delivering projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards. Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
