We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated IT Helpdesk Technician who takes pride in delivering exceptional technical support and customer service.

Position Overview

As an IT Helpdesk Technician at Web Reign, you'll be the first point of contact for technical support requests — the friendly voice and skilled hand that keeps our clients' systems running smoothly. You'll diagnose problems, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary, ensuring that every client receives fast, reliable, and professional service.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and human sides of IT — solving problems, explaining solutions clearly, and providing an experience that leaves clients feeling supported and confident.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or remote access.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve user issues efficiently, escalating to higher support levels when needed.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware components.
  • Support users with Office 365, email configuration, VPN access, and common business software.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and system changes in ticketing software.
  • Maintain and update client systems according to established service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist with system upgrades, device rollouts, and security configurations.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base and share best practices with the team.
  • Ensure every client interaction reflects Web Reign's commitment to quality and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of IT support experience (Helpdesk, Service Desk, or Technical Support).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation — patient, clear, and professional.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • A+ or other relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) are assets.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience supporting small business IT environments or managed service providers (MSPs).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection tools.
