This is a key position within a fast-paced logistics environment — ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ensuring technology keeps the business moving forward.

Position Overview:

As the IT Helpdesk Technician, you will serve as the first point of contact for all technical support within the company. From office computers to mobile logistics software, your role will help ensure that our systems run smoothly so our people can do their best work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization
  • Set up and configure user workstations, phones, and other equipment for new staff
  • Maintain and troubleshoot systems used in logistics and inventory management
  • Support employees using remote work tools, communication platforms, and mobile devices
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and create reference guides for internal use
  • Escalate unresolved problems to external vendors or senior IT support when needed
  • Monitor system updates, security patches, and assist with regular IT maintenance
  • Ensure data backups and access controls are managed securely

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk technician role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and basic networking
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, VPNs, and mobile device management
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or warehousing environments is an asset
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
