Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our civil construction team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience operating a variety of equipment, ensuring safe and efficient project completion. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, requiring strong operational skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Operate heavy equipment including dozers, excavators and skid steers.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
  • Assist with site preparation, material transportation, and site cleanup to support ongoing construction activities.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations efficiently across multiple project sites.

Skills

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators and skid steers.
  • Mechanical knowledge of machinery maintenance.
  • Construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adapt to changing project needs.
  • This position is integral to the successful execution of construction projects requiring precise operation of complex machinery in a safe manner. Candidates should be detail-oriented team players committed to quality work and safety standards.

**Starting wage is dependent on experience**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
