Position Summary
Kiewit is hiring an experienced Forklift and Zoom boom operator for the Woodfibre Project in Squamish, BC. This role involves operating various types of equipment in a marine-adjacent industrial environment. Candidates must be comfortable working around water and performing tasks such as backing up trailers onto barges and loading/offloading materials and equipment.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience operating zoom boom, calmar or similar forklift, shunt truck, high way truck and trailer
Must have Marine experience:
Using skiff boat
- Backing trailers onto barges
Loading/offloading equipment and materials from barges
Must have Class 1 Driver's license and provide 5 year Driver's Abstract
- Valid Zoom Boom Ticket
- Valid Forklift Ticket
- CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015
- Leadhand experience is a plus
Shift Information
- 14/7 rotation
- Must be available to work any of the following rotations: 14/7, 21/7, 14/14, 10/4
- Must be available to work days or nights
Additional Information
- Wage: $43.30/hour
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test.
