Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Assist in the inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food handling procedures.
  • Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling food.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
  • A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
