Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Business Development/Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive business growth. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms.

Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across various platforms.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster community interaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media marketing.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with influencers and partners.
  • Proven project management abilities to oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles to create impactful content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Sound IT and Graphics knowledge.
  • Possess Class 5 drivers license and own a car.
  • Knowledge of business development strategies to identify new opportunities through social media channels.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills to build rapport with followers and clients. Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
