Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, preparing meals, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the food industry to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Prior kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Support cooking and plating of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage
- Support serving staff by preparing orders for delivery or dine-in customers
- Ensure all food products are stored correctly and waste is minimized
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Skills
- Experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant environments is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of meal preparation and food industry practices
- Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the kitchen as needed
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen operations
