**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including cooking stations and storage areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new menu items or improve existing recipes.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

**Skills**
- Proficient in food handling techniques and knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong skills in meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with other kitchen staff.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality food presentation and taste.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or special dietary requests.
