ISNA Elementary School is seeking qualified and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our teaching team for the elementary school grade levels.

Position: Supply Teacher (On-Call)

Location: 1525 Sherway Drive, Mississauga, ON

Start Date: Ongoing

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Teaching experience required at the elementary school level (JK to Gr. 8)
  • Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation preferred
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain a positive, structured learning environment
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills
  • Commitment to following school policies and procedures
  • Flexibility and availability to accept assignments on short notice
  • Dedication to fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom culture rooted in Islamic values

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons and activities according to provided plans
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and orderly classroom environment
  • Supervise students during class and transitions
  • Adhere to all school policies, routines, and expectations
  • Leave clear notes on student progress, attendance, and classroom conduct
