Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Daycare Teacher Supplies to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will support our educators by providing care and supervision for children aged 0-6 years during their absence. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working with children and want flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Implement and facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences based on the existing curriculum.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's development and social skills.
  • Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime.
  • Communicate effectively with children and staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all children.
  • Document children's progress and report any concerns to the lead educator.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
  • A background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clear vulnerable sector check.
