**Who we need**

H&S is looking for a full time financial analyst to support the financial analytic needs of the organization and business partners by supporting the planning and budgeting processes, supporting business areas with financial analysis, and providing ongoing financial modeling and report writing expertise.

**Reporting to the Manager, Financial Analytics, you will work from a remote home office from anywhere in Canada.**

**How you will make an impact every day**

**Data Management**
- Maintain processes around data inputs the analyst team uses to ensure high data quality
- Improve data processes, drive data automation and identification of key data points and metrics that the business requires

**Reporting & Communicating Results**
- Set up and generate reports for business partners
- Designing reports/dashboards and utilizing your data and systems knowledge to effectively communicate results and data to stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to help them understand their reports and data to facilitate data driven decisions.

**Budgeting & Planning**
- Support business partners in developing their multi-year financial plans using existing or developing metrics to inform future planning.
- Work with business partners to monitor, evaluate and understand business units results and determine the impact of those results on the multi-year financial plan.
- Documenting and communicating drivers of budget variances as part of the analyst team’s reporting process.
- Prepare budget details based on the organizational financial plan.
- Support the overall Foundation planning and budgeting process.

**Financial & Information Analysis**
- Maintain financial and data models and update with the latest data and results
- Monitoring and evaluating ongoing data and financial metrics to identify trends, and risks to inform and guide business partners.
- Support business partners in data evaluation and identification of risks and opportunities associated with data driven business decisions.
- Derive business insights and formulate tactics to drive incremental growth and improve performance and drive key business decision making.
- Prepare financial and data modeling for ongoing as well as new initiatives.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required

**What you bring**

**Educational Requirements**
- An undergraduate degree in related business field

**Work Experience**
- 2-3 year’s work experience

**Skills**
- Advanced Excel
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Financial Systems Knowledge - such as MS Dynamics Business Central, Solver BI360
- Business Intelligence or Analytic Software such as MS Management Reporter, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Looker
- Sales or transactions platforms such as CRM/Salesforce
