Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a keen interest in coffee and beverage crafting. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the Micros POS system for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, including equipment upkeep and sanitation practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
  • Demonstrate time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Skills

  • Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
  • Familiarity with the food industry, including food handling and safety protocols.
  • Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Experience using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
