Job Overview:

Welcome to BRANDOR We are seeking skilled, patient and passionate part-time baristas to join our team. As a part-time Barista/All-rounder, you would be mainly responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. You would also need to provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience within the store.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso based coffee drinks, tea, and specialty drinks, ensure and maintain the drinks at a high level of quality and consistency following requirements and SOP.

  • Assist to prepare and serve a variety of refreshments, including pastries and desserts

  • Take orders and operate/process payments using the POS (Point-of-Sales) system

  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting customers with any possible concerns and issues

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store

  • Strictly follow all food safety guidelines/regulations and ensure proper handling of food and beverages

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations in a fast-paced environment

  • Adhere to company policies, guidelines and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-Year experience in coffee/beverage industry is required

  • Intermediate knowledge of specialty coffee and espresso preparation techniques and procedures

  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details

  • Basic knowledge about coffee, coffee beans, their origins and related information in order to communicate with our customers and coffee enthusiastics

  • Ability to operate a cash register and POS system

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices, Food Handlers Certificate is required

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
