**Job Overview**

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated **Barista/All Rounder** to join our team at the **Unit #110-3300 No. 3 Road Richmond, Capstan Skytrain Station** location. This role goes beyond just making great coffee, it's about creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering top-tier customer service, and taking pride in everything from espresso shots to cheesecake slices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Efficiently operate the POS system to handle customer transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Uphold food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

**Required Experience and Qualifications**:

- Must have at least 1 year of relevant barista experience and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices in food handling and preparation. Completion of BC Food Safe Level 1 certification is required.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Taking orders and providing excellent customer service.
- Opening and closing the shop.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure food safety standards are met during food preparation and handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including workstations and equipment.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about menu items.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.
