As a proud Yamaha-authorized dealer, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Yamaha Marine Technician to join our team and help keep our customers on the water.
Position: Yamaha Marine Technician (Full-Time, Permanent)
We're seeking a motivated and experienced outboard mechanic (Yamaha preferred, Mercury/Suzuki accepted). As a Yamaha Marine Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing Yamaha outboards and marine systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for boating and marine equipment.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose, service, and repair Yamaha outboard engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke) and perform routine maintenance, pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), and rigging of new boats.
· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
· Utilize Yamaha diagnostic software and service tools to identify and resolve faults.
· Maintain accurate work orders, parts usage, and service records.
· Ensure all work meets Yamaha and Galleon Marine quality standards.
· Provide excellent customer service and communicate repair details clearly.
· Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
Qualification and Skills
· Yamaha Marine Technician Certification (or willingness to complete Yamaha factory training).
· Minimum 3 years of marine mechanic experience preferred (Yamaha experience an asset).
· Strong understanding of outboard systems, rigging, and marine electrical systems.
· Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Schedule:
· Full-time: Tuesday to Saturday (preferred or Monday to Friday acceptable)
· 8-hour shift
