We are looking for an experienced Marine Technician who is self-motivated, hardworking, and able to execute the job safely and efficiently. We are looking to add skilled technicians at both of our locations: Crescent Beach Marina (South Surrey) and Milltown Marina (Richmond/South Vancouver, near the Marpole area).

Our new team members will be able to prioritize workload based on deadlines while producing high-quality work with extreme attention to detail.
- Proficiency with marine gas & diesel engines (inboard, I/O & outboard)
- Ability to diagnose & problem solve
- Works well in a team environment & independently
- Strong knowledge of all boat systems: electrical/electronics, plumbing, steering, etc.
- Physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds
- Assist with pressure washing & boat moving procedures
- Willing to learn & stay current with industry standards; with opportunity to further education
- Participate in maintaining a clean & safe shop
- Support a culture of continuous improvement to increase efficiencies & reduce costs
- Specialty tools provided; must have personal tools
- Forklift certificate an asset but not required
- Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo, Cummins, Yanmar, etc. experience is a massive benefit to this position, but it is not necessary; training will be provided.
- We are a certified dealer for Volvo, Cummins, Mercury, and Mercruiser.

**Company Description**:
Milltown Marine Services is a full-service marine repair shop with three climate-controlled 35’ bays in Vancouver’s newest marina, Milltown Marina. We service 15’ to 150’ boats, mostly from our in-water and drystack moorage (total marina capacity of 425 boats).

Crescent Beach Marina is a full-service Marina in South Surrey, near the USA border. We are the new management team at this facility and are expanding our service capabilities. We have several acres of property to provide out-of-water storage and services and manage over 200 in-water slips at the marina.

Both locations can perform regular and preventative maintenance and conduct major refit and repower projects on-site. We operate as a small, entrepreneurial organization and offer great flexibility for the right person. Our sister companies include Platinum Marine, Crescent Yachts, CCY Marine, Wrapboats.ca, and Tactical Custom Boats.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
