Are you a highly analytical, proactive finance professional ready to move beyond just reporting and start shaping business strategy? We're looking for a sharp Financial Analyst to become a key player in optimizing the financial performance of our diverse hotel and residential portfolio.
This is your chance to be the financial backbone that directly impacts profitability, informs executive decisions, and supports the growth of our entire organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
This role is centered on high-impact analysis, reporting, and strategic support across our properties:
- Financial Strategy & Budgeting: Take the lead on the annual budget process for our entire hotel portfolio, turning financial goals into actionable plans.
- Performance Insight: Be the expert who analyzes fluctuations between actual results and budget, delivering insightful variance explanations and identifying key trends and best practices across hotels.
- Advisory & Partnership: Work directly with hotel management to advise on efficient operations based on your deep financial analysis of their performance data.
- Investment & Growth: Provide critical analytical support for potential new investment opportunities and ongoing key initiatives, including preparing pro forma reports and detailed comparisons.
- Strategic Reporting: Manage and generate internal management reporting, ensuring executive and operations teams have timely, accurate, and essential daily, weekly, and monthly financial data to make informed decisions.
- Portfolio Health: Maintain crucial reports related to property taxes, track appeal deadlines, and manage complex hotel franchise agreements.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
We're looking for a self-starter with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and a sharp business mind.
- Education: A bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years
- Strategic Acumen: The ability to recognize financial patterns and translate them into real-world business repercussions.
- Analytical Power: Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, operational reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Project Management: Proven skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, comfortable communicating complex financial information effectively to staff at all levels.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of various computer applications and reporting software.
