Position Overview

We are seeking a 309A Electrician with building automation installation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in mechanical power wiring, low-voltage wiring, and control systems, and can lead job sites, coordinate teams, and communicate effectively with project managers and other trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read scopes of work and review electrical and control drawings.
  • Order materials and plan/schedule jobs to meet project deadlines.
  • Lead electricians on-site and oversee installation work.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades.
  • Perform mechanical power wiring, mechanical low-voltage wiring, and low-voltage control wiring.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation or integration issues on-site.

Qualifications

  • Valid 309A Electrician License in Ontario.
  • Hands-on experience with building automation systems preferred.
  • Experience in mechanical power, low-voltage wiring, and control wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and scopes.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team on-site.
  • Availability for occasional evenings or weekends as required.
