We are seeking 'Scale house Attendant's/ Equipment operator's' to join our team for the following areas: Woodbridge, Pickering, Scarborough & Markham.

The candidate will be expected to work in a moderate to fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: Managing inventory, scaling out trucks and interacting with customers both on the phone and in person.

For those qualified for equipment operator, you will be expected to load trucks of various sizes and operate a forklift.

Duties

- Operate scale to ensure accurate weight measurements of incoming and outgoing shipments.

- Accurately track inventory as it enters the yard

- Assist in answering phone calls and taking orders

- Assist in loading bags

- Follow safety policies and task lists set forth by team members

-Operate forklifts, loaders, and other machinery safely and efficiently. (Equipment Operator)

Requirements:

- Able to multitask

- Able to work a flexible schedule

- Able to work nights and weekends.

- Able to communicate with customers effectively (Proficient English is mandatory)

- Able to work over Christmas holidays if required

-Experience is preferred for "Equipment Operators", though inexperienced candidates will be considered if they display other applicable skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
