Freebird Market is a unique culinary destination offering fresh breads, pastries, salads, sandwiches, pizza, coffees, prepared meals, and globally inspired grocery items — all supported by our 8,000 sq. ft. scratch kitchen.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our FOH team, you'll handle a variety of customer service and light food-handling responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cashing customers out accurately using our POS system
  • Serving salads from the salad bar
  • Warming sandwiches on the grill and heating pizzas in the oven
  • Assisting customers with product questions and orders
  • Preparing espresso-based drinks, coffees, matchas, and specialty beverages
  • Merchandising shelves and restocking as needed
  • Building boxes and packaging food items
  • Keeping the store clean, stocked, and organized throughout the day
  • Performing temperature checks and documenting end-of-day waste
  • Upholding all food safety and hygiene standards

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a café, market, or food service environment (required)
  • Barista experience (preferred, but training available)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain (required to sell wine)
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
  • Availability for part-time shifts, including weekends
