Job Summary

Seeking overnight in-home caregiver for Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays with at least 3 years of caregiving experience related to high needs seniors (Parkinson and Alzheimer's) and relevant diploma/degree. To care for our elderly parents.

Mom has atypical Parkinson's and very disabled. Need to feed and provide toileting/diapering care. Dad has early stages Alzheimer's - just keep an eye on him and prepare food.

Other duties: Administer meds, change clothing/wipe down mom with washcloth, light housekeeping duties, prepare meals, etc. Able or learn to use mechanical lift. Assist with personal hygiene. First Aid and CPR. Criminal check required. Canadian citizen/PR or work visa applicants.

Work hours: Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays 9 pm to 7 am (30 hours). Hours may increase if candidate is suitable. Location: In-home care in Vancouver near UBC (V6L postal code). Compensation: $28/hr. Looking for commitment of at least one year or more. Submit resume and cover letter.

Pay: $28.00 per hour
