Job Overview

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to one individual at home. This is an overnight position.

Duties

  • Assist client with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
  • Must have knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Support client with mobility
  • Engage with client in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Document care provided and report any changes in health status
  • Support client with dementia with patience and understanding
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed

Experience

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred
  • Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is a plus
  • Familiarity with caregiving duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and mobility assistance is beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with diverse populations and handle heavy lifting safely is important

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
