Smart Building Facilities Specialist

We are seeking a Facilities Specialist with a passion for data to join our team. You will be the bridge between our physical assets and our digital insights.
The ideal candidate is a "hybrid" professional: someone comfortable troubleshooting an electrical panel or inspecting an industrial motor one moment, and analyzing BMS trends to improve energy efficiency the next. You will work extensively with Commercial HVAC systems, motor controls, and Building Management Systems to ensure peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- BMS & Data Optimization: Monitor and operate Building Management Systems (BMS). Analyze trend logs and data points to identify inefficiencies, energy waste, or impending equipment failures.
- Hands-On Troubleshooting: Perform physical inspections and diagnostics on electrical panels, industrial motors, and control wiring.
- HVAC Operations: Oversee the performance of commercial HVAC equipment (Chillers, AHUs, VAVs) ensuring occupant comfort and system reliability.
- Controls & Automation: Troubleshoot sensors, actuators, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). Bridge the gap between mechanical function and digital control.
- Reporting: Translate technical findings into clear data reports. Use your passion for data to recommend actionable facility improvements.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict electrical safety standards (Lockout/Tagout) and facility best practices.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
