**Purpose of the position**

Reporting to the Manager, National Service Providers (NSP), the National Account Specialist processes and qualifies inbound leads and supports outbound opportunity development. This position will provide product demos to customers and channel partners, while collaborating internally across the North American territories. The National Account Specialist works with NSP reps, and customers in all verticals to introduce SMART solutions through the adoption of our products.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Service and qualify inbound contacts with a focus on engaging and qualifying prospective customers and NSP reps.
- Provide product demonstrations regularly, and deliver sales presentations and product overviews to customers and NSP reps.
- For targeted accounts, research the account, determine the best account-based messaging, determine correct contacts.
- Coordinate and execute pre/post event follow-up strategy in collaboration with sales, channel, and marketing teams.
- Attend select virtual and physical events.
- Build and prioritize outreach plans to ensure timely and fulsome follow-up on activity.
- Relationship development with prospective customers and channel partners (NSP) within territory.
- Develop strong industry and product knowledge, and sales messaging.

**Education and work experience**
- 2+ years experience in Sales and/or Education.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and teams remotely.
- Strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated reasoning and problem-solving abilities with a high level of self-motivation.
- Strong time-management and planning skills.
- High degree of comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to approach tasks with a positive attitude while focusing on results with a strong sense of urgency towards reaching goals.
- Experience with Salesforce and other CRMs preferred.
- Experience with social media, marketing and sales preferred.

**Supervision**
- This position does not have any direct reports.

**Additional Details**
- This position will require being in the HQ office in Calgary, several days a week, while having some flexibility to WFH (Hybrid).
- Fast-paced work environment.
- Seasonal travel may be required up to 20%
- Expected to work in partner offices as requested
- A valid passport, or no impediment to obtaining one.
