Housekeeping -Wingham ON

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various settings such as hotels, hospitals, or industrial facilities. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy creating a clean and welcoming environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Understand all operations of housekeeping and laundry equipment
• Follow WHMIS legislation about proper handling of chemicals used in the housekeeping and laundry department
• Work cooperatively with other departments in carrying out housekeeping and laundry duties
• Follows routines as designated by the Environmental Service Manager or designate
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a Long term Care environment is an asset
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Committed, genuine, hardworking, creative, caring
• Must be available for morning and afternoon shifts
• Proven ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks and respond to multiple demands
• Knowledge of the residents Bill of Rights and promotion of same within daily practice
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (Minimum 2 doses received)
