Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Vaughan

Position Overview: Reporting to VP, Administration and Finance, you will be involved in a variety of clerical and administrative functions to support various departments within TECHCOM.
General Responsibilities & Expectations:
· Ensure the office is running as efficiently as possible. Order and manage office supplies and inventory, source, oversee and work with vendors as needed, own the office ambience
· Organize and maintain filing to follow a consistent approach to keeping documents manually and electronically
· Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions with duties including invoicing, discrepancies and reconciliation
· Coordinate service calls, site assessments, courier and shipments
· Monitor, review standard expenditures to ensure the activities of the office are conducted within established budgets, enter and track for all expense reimbursement monthly
· Lead and coordinate multiple events from planning to execution
· Assist with other administrative initiatives as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
· University Degree is an asset
· Experience in an administrative position
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in the allocated time and meet deadlines
· Ability to be self-supervised, independent and take initiative
· Strong verbal and written communication skills including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation,
· Keen attention to details
· Strong computer software knowledge (Especially MS Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Internet research capabilities, Appreciates and enjoys technology
· High level of discretion required when dealing with confidential matters
· Working with a diverse audience, including interacting with senior levels of management, effectively working individually or in a team environment.
· Candidates must also be prepared for a flexible working schedule (if required; will vary depending on business needs) and to complete a criminal and credit background check.
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Full-time
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
