CMP supplies the recreational and commercial marine industries with a broad range of products for various industry segments, including anchoring & ground tackle, corrosion, dock & boat accessories, and steering & controls. We are seeking an Administration Assistant to join the Vaughn team. Reporting to the General Manager, the administration assistant is responsible for supporting all general office duties, including the following departments: Finance (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable), Human Resources, Customer Service as well as Warehouse.

**RESPONSIBILITIES: (Administrative and office)**
- Scanning A/P back up (invoices, receivers, & POs) to server.
- Sending cheques received in Vaughan to AR team for processing.
- Assist A/R with scanning and uploading of documents.
- Update vendors with payment status as required.
- Manage petty cash.
- Ensure that office supplies are ordered in an organized and timely manner.
- Serve as back up for general telephone line.
- Provide ad hoc reports / spreadsheets or information when required.
- Cross trained in various activities to provide backup coverage and assistance.
- Primary employee to greet all visitors.
- Sort and distributes mail and process outbound mail.
- Promote safe work practices as outlined in the WSIB Ontario regulations.
- Ensure the Company’s quality policies and procedures are followed.
- Participate in Quality Audits as required.
- Participate in 1X1 meetings with the General Manager.
- Champion RESPECT code of behavior.
- Participation in various committees (Health & Safety, Social Committee).
- Continually challenge the status quo and identify ways to improve process and efficiency within role, department and company
- Other projects as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or n a similar role
- 2+ years of Accounts receivables and Accounts payable experience
- 2+ years of experience of administrative or office duties in a manufacturing company or similar industry
- 2+ years of experience with an ERP system (Visual an asset).
- College Degree/Diploma
- Good understanding of GST/PST regulations.
- Good Communication skills with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Comfortable in multi-tasking and in managing high volume of work.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Good organization, attention to detail and time management skills required.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize, to take initiative and maintain confidentiality.

**HOURS**
- 8:00 m - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
- In office position
