Grade: Contract

The Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, Legislative Services Branch, co-ordinates the development of the ministry's legislative agenda and manages the development and implementation of new Acts and regulations. It also provides legal and policy advice and assistance to guide all government ministries, agencies and crown corporations in the development of their Acts, regulations and Orders in Council. The Branch provides legal advice to Executive Council.

The Legislative Services Branch, Public Law Division, has a term position available for a lawyer. The successful candidate will initially be offered a contract for a term ending on December 31, 2026, with the possibility of an extension.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required for this position would have been acquired through the completion of a Law Degree. The successful candidate must be eligible for a membership and on an ongoing basis, holding a membership in good standing with, the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
