A machine manufacturer is looking for a Licensed Millwright (433A). This will be a direct-hired and permanent position.

A new project with Toyota is scheduled for next year, so we are looking to hire a Licensed Millwright to expand the current team. There will be little to no time for the training period.

Previous assembling experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating various machinery, such as hoisting and lifting devices, as needed
  • Maintain coordinated effort and communication to ensure mill runs efficiently
  • Supervise smaller groups and their daily tasks to make sure the projects run smoothly
  • Meet productivity goals in a safe and consistent manner
  • Recommend new procedures within the mechanical area, or in conjunction with the Mechanical Assembly shop
  • Ensure all mechanical inventory parts are recorded in inventory
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Already received/possesses Millwright license / Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Licensed Millwright in the automation machinery environment
  • Able to operate, assemble, repair and adjust equipment
  • Experience with doing lineups on machinery
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Self-motivated able to work on different types of machinery
  • This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
