HR Generalist
to join our team on a 12–18 month contract to cover a maternity leave. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle and providing day-to-day HR support across the organization. This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage employee benefits, enrollment, and inquiries.
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Contribute to HR operations and initiatives, supporting a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
  • Partner with leadership to address employee relations issues as needed.
  • Support HR reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of employment standards and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient with HRIS and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
