Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical and customer service skills, with experience using office software and managing daily office operations. This role involves handling various administrative tasks to ensure smooth office functioning, providing excellent customer support, and maintaining accurate records. Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, along with proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day front desk operations, including welcoming patients, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using clinic management software
  • Maintain and update patient records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Process insurance claims, invoices, and patient payments
  • Coordinate with the physiotherapist and other team members to ensure efficient scheduling and clinic flow
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in office administration, medical reception, or clinic management is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
