Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor – Finance, the Student – Finance will work as part of the finance team.

Major Responsibilities

  • Enters and reconciles transactions such as accounts receivables and payables.
  • Enter customer payments and adjustments.
  • Maintain spreadsheets.
  • Performs daily verifications and posting of data to journals.
  • Assist with filing, mail distribution and archiving.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed high school diploma and currently enrolled in Business/Commerce, Accounting or Finance at a college or university .
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
  • High accuracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with typing and data entry.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Professionally represents the Tbaytel brand.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful, and efficient manner.

Conditions of Employment

  • To qualify as a student, you must be in full-time attendance in your graduating year of High School or at a Post-Secondary School prior to summer employment and be returning to a Post-Secondary School on a full-time basis in the fall of this year.

  • Successfully undergo a satisfactory Criminal Records Check.
