About You

You're proactive, persistent, and comfortable making the first move—whether it's a cold call, a LinkedIn message, or a follow-up email. You can confidently connect with decision-makers, explain complex ideas clearly, and handle rejection with professionalism. You also understand the importance of digital outreach, online sales tools, and keeping CRM systems in top shape. You have:

  • Strong work ethic: You plan ahead, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments.

  • Creative research skills: Proficient at finding contacts and insights via LinkedIn, Zoominfo, Apollo, RocketReach, industry databases, and online tools (including ChatGPT and other AI software).

  • Communication confidence: Comfortable with cold calling, sending professional outreach emails, and engaging prospects on digital platforms.

  • Attention to detail: Accurate with data entry, scheduling, and follow-up.

  • Learning mindset: Keen to build knowledge about industrial sectors, asset management, and innovative technology solutions.

  • B2B or customer service experience: 3+ years experience in sales, outreach, or client-facing experience is a requirement.

About the Role

As B2B Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing complete sales cycle to achieve agreed sales targets. Activities will include outbound prospecting, lead qualification, client presentations/consultations, proposal generation, and closing of sales. You will also be required to attend trade shows and local networking events as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and contact potential clients via cold calls, targeted emails, LinkedIn messages, and other digital channels.

  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and aligning them with NanoTech's solutions.

  • Maintain and update CRM with all outreach activities and client interactions.

  • Assist with digital sales activities, including email campaigns, online product demos, and virtual presentations.

  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings and presentations for senior team members.

  • Research prospects and prepare background information to support sales discussions.

  • Participate in sales meetings and share ideas for improving outreach and conversion rates.

Notes:

  • Eligibility: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

  • Location: Office is in Vancouver (some remote work may be considered).

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours.

  • Compensation: Base salary plus sales commissions
