Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Installer with experience installing Aluminum railings, glass railings and other architectural materials to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass products in residential and commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Glass Installer will ensure that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Install Install metal and glass railings
  • Install glass windows, doors, and other glass fixtures according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
  • Perform caulking to seal edges and ensure proper insulation.
  • Restore or repair existing glass installations as needed.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper alignment and plumb of installations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of installed glass products for quality assurance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety guidelines.

Experience

  • Proven experience in glass installation or related construction fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction techniques is essential.
  • Skills in welding, tile laying, construction painting, and restoration are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the installation process.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot installation issues effectively.
